In this week, I will be talking about Screencasting on education. I have never used Screencasting before, and it was nice to experience creating a few for practice. I believe it’s an amazing tool that can be used in different ways.
Screencasting is a digital recording of your computer screen that captures voice narrations and activities on the screen. It is useful for demonstrating tutorials, training videos, video lessons, and recorded presentations. It’s an easier and effective way to explain contents while shadowing steps simultaneously.
This tool can be used by both instructors and students to deliver their work in a productive channel. By using this tool, creates a more engaged audience and gives a clear understanding of the subject.

Screencastify is an extension tool that can be embedded in your web browser (specifically chrome) to record on your devices.
I used Screencastify to record the video below to explain a pro tip to organize chrome tabs.

Hi Rahma,
Thank you for sharing the technique of chrome, I was categorizing my tabs by putting them into different windows … which was messy every time I reboot the computer, until I saw your video! I also agree with the fact that screencasting can help audiences engage more during the delivery.
